by

This year we have the wonderful opportunity to share our love of genealogy with others through our booth set up at the Florida State Fair grounds. We will have computers set up to engage in live demos with our visitors, as well as have wonderful treats for children and adults alike including a raffle prize of admission to our Annual Seminar held in October. Our booth will be open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on opening day, Thursday, February 11th and then the weekends of February 13, 14, and 20, 21 from 10:00am to 6:00pm. We would like to extend an invitation for you to volunteer at our booth and assisting visitors with providing basic genealogical information, answering questions, and helping with online demos.

There are currently openings on each day, broken down into two 4-hour shift; 10am – 2pm and 2pm to 6pm. Since we would like to have 3-4 volunteers per shift. Each volunteer will be provided with free parking, as well as entry to the fair for that day.

You will also need to complete a demonstrators form which we provide at the February Meeting and must be confirmed after your initial sign up.

We understand concerns for your safety.  Please review the state fair COVID Safety Protocols on the State Fair website.

Looking forward to see you at the fair!
