Florida Genealogical Society (Tampa)

Serving the Needs of the Genealogical Community for Over 50 Years

About Our Society

The Florida Genealogical Society is the oldest genealogical society in Florida, founded in 1958.
Our meetings are normally held at 11:00 AM on the first Saturday of every month (except for October and December) in the auditorium of the John F. Germany Public Library, 900 North Ashley Drive, in downtown Tampa.
Prior to each monthly meeting (10:15 AM to 10:50 AM), we hold a special interest group meeting focusing on Beginners/Brick Walls.
