201606 tmacentee

At our April 2018 meeting, we will host two special programs.  We kickoff with a presentation by Cindy Hineman, Professional Life Writing Instructor, with The Story of Life (TSOLife); a Tampa based company focused on creating new and innovative ways to preserve your legacy and pass down stories for future generations.  After our general monthly meeting, our featured presentation Dropbox for Genealogists by Thomas MacEntee explains how to use Dropbox to backup your research.

Our monthly meetings are open to the public; all are welcome!

About our speaker:

Thomas MacEntee

What happens when a “tech guy” with a love for history gets laid off during The Great Recession of 2008? You get Thomas MacEntee, a genealogy professional based in the United States who is also a blogger, educator, author, social media connector, online community builder and more. Thomas was laid off after a 25-year career in the information technology field, so he started his own genealogy-related business called High Definition Genealogy. Thomas’ new site Genealogy Bargains launched in March 2017 and is now his main focus. Genealogy Bargains posts daily deals and coupons on products such as AncestryDNA, 23andMe, genealogy books and webinars.
