Transcribe FGS Library Index Cards

Event Chair: Rosemarie Neville

DETAILS:

In conjunction with the Florida History and Genealogical Library (FHGL), we are seeking volunteers to help transcribe index cards of previous FGS -Tampa member’s family trees.  The objective is to get this information online and indexed.  Once complete, the entire FHGL holdings will be indexed and placed online.

What will I do:

  • You will receive a PDF file of some index cards
  • You will then transcribe the contents of the index cards into an online spreadsheet.
  • Once you finish your list of names (cards), notify Rosemarie that you are done.

Where can I do this?

  • You can do this project from anywhere you have access to the Internet.  Home, coffee shop, or the library.
